Ride. Smart. Safe.

 

We are your local IAM advanced motorcycle group for the areas around Morecambe Bay, including South Cumbria, West Yorkshire and North Lancashire. Our aims are to:

  • Improve road safety by raising riding standards, and

  • To prepare people for their IAM Advanced Riding Test.

We have members from all walks of life, riding all types of bikes. We're not just beardy old men on BMW GSs (though you will meet a few of them)!​

As well as the more formal advanced riding course, we also meet regularly for breakfast meetings, which are usually followed by ride outs. We also have longer full-day and multi-day tours and run skill refresher sessions, such as our very popular slow riding and members' rides.
