Hi there - both myself and associate Colin Done will be along if that is OK.  Could you let me know what the meeting point is and a gpx file would be great please rudyrengers@me.com

Well back now and bike rinsed off (not going to give it a proper wash yet....). Thanks to DeadBunny for organising and leading to the last stop and then tec'ing back to Devil's Bridge.  Thanks to everyone else for your good company and witty repartee. Hope to see you all next Sunday for the Torver breakfast and a hald-day rideout (will post later tonight on that).

Hope ylu didn't get soaked getting home Richard (aka Jonathan). 😜

Cheers, Dave B.

Thanks to everyone for a great day out!! Really enjoyed it. Actually got home without any more rain down the Lune Valley and was treated to the Red Arrows flying over heading towards the West coast.

Just filling in the documentation for my name to be changed by depol 🙂

Thanks to the Daves for a good rideout in a day of extremes. 22 degrees in Scarborough with people swimming in the sea and 9 degrees with heavy rain and hail on the way back  😀

So, with my ride out coordinator's hat on what we seem to be into is a culinary adventure joined together with some motorcycling?  😂

But seriously, grand day out thank you all!

A great day out. Thanks David for all the work you put in planning and leading and Dave for helping out too.  I really enjoyed roads that had good views and still had white lines down the middle, I should try that more often.

Rudy's comment chimes with my thoughts this morning.  The presence of a non-ice cream eating rider with us yesterday has challenged me!  I fear I have played a part in the riding between eating format that has developed over the last few years. Gone are the days of snatched 10 min stops in a dusty lay-by and leaping over a gate to use the facilities behind a hedge.  I apologise for having gone soft! I am sure there are a number of our members who would be happy to return to the tougher, edgier days.  I am sure that could be arranged.

However be assured that any ride with my name on it will be of the softie variety - with serous research into finding the best locally cured bacon and the creamiest most flavoursome ice cream!

Thanks to both D's

A most excellent journey, both physically and culinary!

Managed to catch one last rain storm at junction 36 just to prove how hard us bikers realyr are!?

Thanks again to all who organised, particioated and endured.

Gaz C.
