SATURDAY Full Day Ride Out open to Members.

A Full Day ride out with lunch & coffee/cake/ice creams along the route

Weather & Ride Leader availability dependant.

The route is a 126 mile run, virtually around the perimeter of the Lake District massif.   It takes in Windermere, Coniston, Loweswater, Crummock Water and finally, Ullswater.  There are two key passes, with the first being from the A595 at Duddon Bridge, over Ulpha Fell to Eskdale.  The second is from Buttermere to Braithwaite over Newlands Hause.  Please note that it’s not a fast route and includes a fair number of single track roads, which at this time of the year means the potential for gravel, **it, moss and suicidal animals.  So being a confident rider in less than perfect conditions is a good starting point.
